A Vision for the Future of European Chess
A Vision for the Future of European Chess
I am pleased to announce my candidacy for the Presidency of the European Chess Union.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of working closely with national federations, organizers, sponsors, senior government representatives, chess supporters, and players across Europe. These experiences have provided me with valuable insight into both the opportunities and challenges facing our chess community.
I firmly believe that Europe has the potential to become the world’s leading chess continent—hosting the strongest tournaments, producing champions at the highest level of international competition, and creating, through transparent and effective governance, an environment where chess successfully connects with business, technology, and public institutions.
Ambitious Goals, Shared Success
My goals are ambitious, but I am confident that, together with you and a team of dedicated, experienced colleagues who share the same values and vision, we can build an outstanding future for European chess.
Our team brings together exceptional individuals from diverse professional backgrounds, combining proven success in chess, business, technology, and communications. This broad expertise will enable us to deliver meaningful progress and lasting results.
Time for Change
The time for change has come.
With a clear strategy and a step-by-step approach, we will transform the European Chess Union into a more transparent, stronger, and more influential organization—one that serves as a leading force in the global chess community.
We Want to Hear Your Voice
I would like to personally invite all members of the European chess community—players, officials, and federation representatives—to connect with our team at:
Please share your questions, ideas, concerns, and suggestions. We want to understand what changes you would like to see and what priorities should shape the future of European chess in the years ahead.
One Move. Real Change.
