Over the years, I have had the privilege of working closely with national federations, organizers, sponsors, top-level government representatives, chess supporters, and players across the continent, gaining valuable experience and perspective. I am certain that Europe has extraordinary potential to become the world’s leading chess continent, by organizing the strongest events, producing champions in major international competitions, and building, through good and transparent governance, the perfect environment where chess meets business, technology, and government institutions. My goals are ambitious, but I am confident that, together with you and alongside a group of dedicated and experienced colleagues with whom I share values and vision, we can achieve a great future for European chess. Our team is exceptionally strong, bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds who have achieved success in chess, business, technology, and communications. The time for change has come. With a new strategy, move by move, we will make the European Chess Union transparent, strong, and a leading force in chess.
